Fix Rundll error

If you have installed Microsoft Windows XP Professional or Windows XP Home Edition and when you start your system to run a program then you might have received rundll error message. Rundll is the file which is designed by the Microsoft only for the internal use of your windows system.  RUNDLL.EXE <dllname>,<entrypoint> <optional arguments> this is the command line for the rundll.  Rundlll has its specific role in your system such as it loads the individual DLL through Loadibrary0, it categorize the <entrypoint> function  and when the <entrypoint> function returns rundll.exe take down the DLL and exit out, it also parses the command line. But sometimes missing of this file creates rundll error.

Why rundll error occurs?

• If Bluetooth Authentication agent is present in your system but a Dll file is corrupt or missed then this error occurs.
• And if the Bluetooth Authentication agent is deleted from your system but its registry data remains in the registry then this error occurs.

How to fix rundll error?

To solve this issue you have to uninstall Bluetooth Authentication agent if installed in your system, so follow the given below steps to uninstall it:-

• Select and click on the control panel and when the control panel page opens then click on the Add/Remove Programs.
• Click on Bluetooth Authentication agent in the Install/Uninstall tab.
• Then click on Add/Remove tab to uninstall Bluetooth Authentication agent.
• Then restart your system and verify that the Bluetooth Authentication agent is removed or not.

If Bluetooth Authentication agent is removed from the control panel then delete Bluetooth Authentication agent data from the windows registry:-

• Click on start button and in the search box type regedit and then press enter.
• When the windows registry page opens then click on the following key:
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
• Then from the right pane, right click on the BluetoothAuthenticationAgent and then click on delete option.
• Then click on close button to close the windows registry.
• Then restart your computer and try to run a program. If you run a program without any interruption and no error message appears in your system screen then this error is fixed.
