When you try to install operating system in your computer then you might have received an error message Stop error code 0x0000000A (IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL) and unable to install OS in your system. Error code 0x0000000A reports occurs during installation of windows OS in your system and this error reports that there is a problem with the hardware components installed in your system.

Use the manual steps to fix windows error:-

• During the installation process, press F% function key when you are prompted with “Setup is inspecting your computer's hardware configuration" message in your screen.
• When new page appears then you should specify the correct computer type and Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL). 
• Then try to re-install windows XP.
• If you resolve this error message successfully by following given above steps then install windows XP successfully and if condition not solved then try the next method:-

Use windows installation CD to fix this error message:-

• You need to first disable antivirus software and BIOS antivirus protection.
• Then insert the windows XP installation CD in your CD/DVD drive and then restart your computer.
• When you receive a message ‘Press any key to boot from CD then you press a key and now your computer start with Windows XP CD
• When your computer starts from the CD then you receive a message and you need to select  any one of the following options:-
• To set up Windows XP now, press ENTER.
• To repair a Windows XP installation using Recovery Console, press R.
• To exit Setup without installing Windows XP, press F3.
• And hit enter.
• Press on F* function key to accept the Licensing Agreement.
• Lists will appear and then computer ask you to select one of the following options:-
• To repair the selected Windows XP installation, press R.
• To continue installing a fresh copy of Windows XP without repairing, press ESC.
• After you repair windows XP press R key.
• This method can resolve your windows XP problems.
